The final video addresses ways that citizens can tell a real law enforcement officer from an impersonator. The first tactic is to ask the officer in question for a second piece of identification. Officers are instructed to carry two forms of photo I.D. on them at all times for this exact reason. Citizens should also call 911 to verify if the person pulling them over is indeed an officer. A third tip is to pay close attention to the officer’s lights: if they only have a single light on the dashboard, they are most likely a false cop. Real unmarked police cars have many different types of professionally installed flashing lights, so drivers are instructed to get a good look at the car pulling them over. The tips in this video are all extremely pertinent to the other four videos, and provide a valuable backbone for societal knowledge about how to spot false cops.
