The second video details a news story that takes place just outside of Akron, Ohio. As an off-duty Akron police officer was attempting to merge onto I-76 West, David Scofield, a former employee with the police department, initially would not let the officer onto the highway, and then refused to let him pass. The officer, who was on his way to the police station, called for backup, and the trailing officers were finally able to pull Mr. Scofield over. The officers found numerous weapons in Mr. Scofield’s car, including handguns, shotguns, and caches of bullets as well as other defensive items like a bulletproof vest and pepper spray. Scofield was quickly charged with impersonation of an officer with intent to arrest and other related crimes.
